Yawei CAO (AA), Artist and Founder of Purple Planet
AA holds a bachelor's degree from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and a master's degree from Peking University. Her work spans installations, sculptures, and digital media, with a unique ability to create energetic spaces that bring healing and peace to viewers. The latest exhibition of Purple Planet took place in April 2024 at the Weaving through Time and Space-The 3rd Metaverse Art Annual Exhibition @ Venice, Italy.
The AA Studio
All products from Purple Planet Crystal are handpicked and handmadedc by the talented team at artist Yawei CAO (AA)’s Studio, using natural crystals sourced from mines around the world. We approach each piece as a work of art, turning it into a unique gift from Purple Planet that will soon be in your hands.
The AA Studio is located in a charming two-story white building in Beijing. The front yard features a beautiful purple garden, towering trees, and a lush bamboo grove where birds often gather, filling the air with birdsong. This space, rich in the harmony of nature, is not only our source of creative inspiration but also a warm home for life. One winter, we rescued three stray cats, giving them warmth and shelter during the cold months.
